Studying Health and Social Care provides students with the opportunities and experiences to develop a deep understanding of the broad range of services that make up the health, social care and childcare sectors that exist in the UK today.

What will you learn?

This course offers mandatory units that cover topics such as effective communication, equality, diversity and rights, health and safety and anatomy and physiology, alongside the opportunity to choose optional units such as sexual health, infection control, diet and nutrition or dementia care.

The remainder of the qualification is made up of coursework options from two units of work.
