iMedia is media sector-focused, including film, television, web development, gaming and animation. This course will provide students with knowledge in key areas in this field from pre-production skills to digital photography and have a motivating, hands-on approach to learning.
The ‘hands-on’ approach that will be required for learning has a strong relevance to the way young people use the technology required to create media. The qualification will allow learners the freedom to explore the areas of creative media that interest them as well as providing good opportunities to enhance their learning in a range of other curriculum areas.
Students will be required to maintain a high level of motivation throughout the course and ensure that all deadlines are met.
Written exam (25%) and three coursework-based units (75%)
